about

Anansi is another song I wrote due to my experience in the traveling circus production, "Afrika Afrika" whereby I soaked up as much as I could the sounds, dances, singing and drumming which always made me feel like I've returned home. Anansi is the name of one of the most important cultural characters of West African lore/legend and is depicted as a spider in the folktales.
